On Thursday evening, Kelly and I were driving home from shopping - what else? - when we passed this sight. Kelly asked incredulously, "Is that a wisteria tree?"
"No, Sweetie," I said, "take a closer look." But I just had to bring my camera back to get a photo for my "album"...and, inspired by Pam (a far better plant photographer than I), a macro shot.

Looks like a tree to me....
Your photos of the wisteria 'tree' are beautiful! I've seen some that should definitely be classified as a tree, in my botanically incorrect opinion!
You're just messing with me - right, Kath?
During these few weeks each spring, Pam, my neighborhood positively outdoes itself with the wisteria, white dogwood, and azaleas! The rest of the year it's pretty ho-hum, but I'm a happy camper right about now. Granted we don't have any fothergilla...where did you get that, by the way?
